Kids to go: Lizet Greve's favorite kid-proof places
We love a new 'discover-your-place' or just that an old favorite and that's why we mash that Kids to Go of us nice and full. With what? The (sometimes literally) tastiest places to brave all the children's stuff, the nicest home entertainment, fun things to keep the little ones entertained and the best of the best tips to fill in some extra bonus time. Because it's easy? Coming up with children's entertainment?
High time indeed to collect tips from fellow humans, who - just like us - eagerly collect places to exhaust this category without any worries. Time for a question and answer session, and believe us, it came: the favorite places in the Netherlands, where the children can simply go. Naturally, we employ a stylist (an eye for beautiful places) and the guise of two little monsters: Lizet Greve in, because with some experience she knows quite a few up-to-date addresses, where a -ehh- screaming child (because you just have those days) is not forgotten, there is enough entertainment to stay all day long and - and we think this is simply the most important - where you really enjoy yourself. Is it coming:
Okay okay, maybe not the most photogenic place on earth, but Teahouse Bos en Hei is fantastic with small kids. Play nicely and then - or before - walk the gnome path in search of the gnome Spillebeen. Or Plop. Name a better idea. To come back to the tea house, in the middle of the beautiful forest; Here you can sink into the comfort of your home no nonsense atmosphere of Bos en Hei. Don't expect too much, but above all just enjoy a day of rest, while the children run around in the playground. But order from the excellent menu. Because that card is certainly not disappointing. So, everyone happy.
Does the gnome path sound very tempting? Don't forget apple cookies or Nutripops van NaturNes Bio to take with you. A remedy against sudden cravings. And maybe the gnomes would like something too.
When in Bussum and it happens to be a beautiful autumn day? go go go to Heath view. At least not because of the amazing playground for the children, one where you wouldn't mind having a blast down the slide yourself (it's ok). And especially because of the location, because there are quite a few good drinks options on the menu. And, in case you missed it, Heidezicht is on the Heide. That means walking, running, possibly climbing trees and then having that well-deserved drink (including snacks for the kids or a... sticky pancake). With a gigantic tea house, where you can look out from behind the glass, Heidezicht is also a beautiful place. Thatched roof above you, glass wall in front of you: we can survive the colder days here. And as a spectacular highlight on a wonderful day, you can also view the animals.
A secret top tip? This mini play park in Naarden. In one word, it is fantastic. And that's all in the fact that it is a play park (it doesn't get more fun for the kids), but one that is less massive. A little calmer, laid back and not the same tune from every trash can every three minutes (which also has its charms, but sometimes just not). The kids don't want to bounce around and you're looking for a day of wandering around? Old Valkeveen. No idea what to do, but staying indoors is not an option? Weather: Oud Valkeveen. Anyway, Oud Valkeveen is not boring, if we are to believe the offspring. That's not possible either, there is a huge playground, in the summer you can claim a spot by a nice lake, there is a theater, there are (indoor) attractions, there is a cinema (with sweet films for the little ones) and there is an indoor arcade (but we'd rather skip that...). Bonus tip, go with several families (if the weather is allowed), then you will also make it fun for yourself. Read: cozy.
