New in Haarlem: La Station Service where you can fill up on the finest French delicacies

For weeks we have been peeking on Instagram at the renovation of this amazing building in a nice corner of Haarlem. And now last weekend we went to the Spaarnwouderstraat to browse live at La Station Service. A French delicatessen where everything looks and tastes absolutely delicious.

La Station Service

La Station Service

It wasn't there yet and only now do we actually know what we've been missing all this time: a delicatessen with French wines, cheeses, sweets. In a lovely corner of Haarlem, too. The French Sonja and Antoine bought a beautiful building and transformed it into a business that you cycle especially for. Or take a detour, because it's practically across the Spaarne at the Teylers Museum and you're there. Not to be missed, because the store is already a pearl from the outside thanks to the large renovated shop window full of goodies and the old letters above the facade.

Maybe it's just us, but as soon as we cross the threshold we are pulled towards the cooling section at the back. A fine selection of French wines beckons there. Which can be combined particularly well with the dried sausage at the entrance and the cheeses from the shop window. You will also find coffee, cookies, pate, toast and more at La Station Service. Not cheap, But no but all from French manufacturers and packaged in such a way that you want to take it with you just for the looks alone. The address to score a sweet gift and support your locals at the same time. À bientôt!
