Sweet house two point zero: White House Zeeland!

Ah, very, very often praised - and not only by us but by almost the entire Instagramming Netherlands, Sweet House Zeeland, the lovely holiday home in the Zeeland hamlet of Turkye, municipality of Waterlandkerkje (both tiny). Now Lief Huisje Zeeland is great, and the perfect base for a (romantic) weekend away for two, or if you need something to do on your own. Say, write a book or something. All great, but Lief Huisje Zeeland is not necessarily suitable for children because of the very steep and quite scary stairs. Good to know, right? But there is news! And it's called White House Zeeland.

It is possible to go to Lief Huisje Zeeland with a baby. One of those that needs big human arms to get from A to B. But from the age of two, when the world seems like a complete mess and everything has to be tested and explored, then Lief Huisje's bigger brother is Zeeland, White House Zeeland, a much better idea.

The same owner, the same environment, the same casual, just-right styling. Also nice: Lief Huisje Zeeland is extremely popular and has often been full for months (be sure to look 9 months ahead if you want to be sure of a weekend in Waterlandkerkje), and Wit Huisje is slightly less known. Won't last long, but still. 

The house is slightly more spacious and the garden is spacious: especially in the summer months, a great place to bake (mom and dad) or play (you-know-who). There is a lovely bath, you can walk or cycle to the beach in no time, Ghent and Bruges are half an hour away by car and everything is delicious, Iske style. By the way, as we speak, the lady of the house is working on house 3: Bakhuisje Zeeland. Definitely highly recommended.
