During a trip Barcelona you can't skip the Gàrcia district. Can't. Doesn't exist. The area has a number of beautiful squares and you can hop from one terrace to the next. Be sure to stop at Plaça de la Vila de Garcia and, if you are with your offspring, take a step for your little one, because the Spanish ninõs ride around the bell tower for hours. There is a good chance that a cheerful band will also play music and then the holiday atmosphere is really complete. You can lay a good foundation in the morning at the Mama's Cafe a little further on, where they serve delicious (healthy!) sandwiches and salads in the cozy courtyard from 9:00.
