A coffee bar as we love to see: Milk and Cookies (North Limburg, Venlo)
Located in one of the most lively places in Venlo - the parade - is this acclaimed coffee shop with a Bed & Breakfast. Picture yourself: freshly roasted coffee, served with a delicious breakfast, after spending a night here in one of the four rooms. Ssounds good, However? Milk and Cookies is your base for sleeping and having coffee Limburg.
Let's start by mentioning that Team Bart loves coffee. Loves coffee very much. In the morning at breakfast, out the door for a to-go (we are very serious when it comes to that coffee love and carefully maintain a never ending take away coffee in the Netherlands list), while enjoying a newspaper or an espresso at the bar. We love it all. The fact that when you enter Milk and Cookies you are immediately met with the smell of delicious fresh coffee is a huge plus for this specialty coffee shop. Two different blends are served, both from sustainable coffee roasters fairtrade. The coffee is expertly made by baristas and comes in many shapes and sizes such as a slow coffee made in one frech-press, specials like a Dirty Chai or a tasty, quick cortado. Plenty of choice in terms of milk types: from oat to coconut milk, they serve a lot. And: everything looks like a picture.
In addition, this is simply a very nice cutting. Pleasant vibe – with always nice music in the background – buzz, nice people, good location (location is the keys) and a tasty one homemade assortment for the sweet tooth. This way you can order carrot cake, a blondie or vegan chocolate peanut butter bar with your coffee. We have heard from reliable sources (;-)) that the Greek yogurt Bad Brownie (with homemade brownie, cookie crumbs and mango sauce) is delicious for breakfast. Yum! The interior of Milk and Cookies exudes an uncomplicated living room atmosphere: soft dimmed light, lots of wood and a cozy tablesettings where you can sit both inside and outside. Plop down on the couch in the window frame, both in- as outside an option, and spend a few hours here tapping away on your laptop during the week or go for an extensive breakfast on the weekend. The last good news is that they also sell those delicious coffee beans; So imagine yourself as a true barista at home by making a delicious cup.
