• The five-star bohemian Retreat Nômade Temple Ibiza opens in July the doors of his temple. You might have to dig deep into your pockets for that, but then you have everything your heart desires. From restaurants and bars to swimming pool and the beach: guests of Nomade have direct access to the beach, but it is also open to other guests.. Oh, and have we talked about the gigantic wellness area yet?
• ICONIQ is the new one concept store in Santa Gertrudis, where you will find distinctive interior and fashion items. Think striking unisex clothing, home accessories, fragrances, and sunglasses.
• We are not necessarily going to Ibiza to gymnastics, we’ll do that at home, but for the true sports enthusiasts there is good news: both ANAYA (pilates, barre and yoga) as Natural Presence (Yoga studios in Santa Gertrudis) are top spots on the island that give you an extra dose of zen.
• HAMA Gallery We of course still know them from Oud-Zuid, but they also opened a contemporary art gallery on our favorite island, including a café.
• In the summer of 2025, opened Soho Farmhouse Ibiza (in the former Cas Gasi, sniff) finally its doors: the hit of the English countryside under the Spanish sun – naturally, that was already a hit before they were even open.
• Palm Ibiza – Bohemian Kitchen It is a beautiful restaurant with a secret, super-green courtyard in the heart of Santa Eulalia, and we found it delicious and pleasant.

Anyone without children cannot and may not do otherwise than (also) pay a brief visit to Lovers, for years the most inspiring (colorful) place in Ibiza. Adults only, yes, although you can take them with you to the shop (where it's also nice, by the way) kids stuff is for sale). Hungry? You can satisfy that here too. You can have breakfast, drink coffee at your leisure, eat pastries, and enjoy delicious cocktails.

Corsario Ibiza, Ibiza Town. The hotel with the same name has been around for a while, but the restaurant—pay attention to that view too—that opened later, and it is really incredibly nice/delicious and an (undiscovered) favorite. Will you let us know how it was?

You will find it around the corner (they are almost neighbors). The Blessed Ibiza. A pearl in the shelter of the city, which also has a small hotel, where you can eat a really delicious, simple 'tostada' and pay 3 euros for a glass of wine. Mind you: a nice glass of wine. On to the yellow parasols and thank us later. AIf you walk a little further down the street, up the hill, you will come to a very nice little bar: Bar Sant Ciríac. You understand, it's a top corner.

There are days when you want to/need to dine in the city center of Ibiza Town. For an evening strolling through the old, historic center is nothing short of a treat.

It is popular for a reservation restaurant La Olivia, a tourist no brainer, but nice. You will find the restaurant in the middle of the Dalt Villa and you will definitely recognize it by the packed terrace. You can eat unadulterated Spanish tapas at the cozy the aperitif. And those same owners opened another business: CasanisWhere l'apéro deliberately opted for a relaxed 'cantine' formula, Casanis feels more like a grown-up (French) brother. The same owner Giselle at the front, the same craftsmanship from Chef Armel in the kitchen, and Martin's wine knowledge.

One of the most beautiful things on the island is the oh so fancy beach pavilion Casa Jondal, dressed in white and beige tones, on Cala Jondal of course, right next to long time favorite beach Tropicana (with kids, that last one, and you'll only be among the Dutch, but then you better not go to Ibiza anyway...).

In the kitchen of Casa Jondal is the private who also made Heart Ibiza a huge success: excellent fish dishes, minimal preparations (and therefore pure, great flavors). You will of course find the beach restaurant (what's in a name) at picturesque Cala Jondal and is open daily for lunch. Then you get, for example, Gamba roja from Roses, fried scorpionfish, marinated oysters with tomato, chili and lime, anchovies, ray, or grilled crab with hollandaise.

Chiringuito Graciowata? One of the nicest bays on the island, close to Sant Antoni (where you would rather not go, otherwise you have a thing for drunk English people), especially because of the chiringuito (such a Spanish beach hut) that is located in the picturesque private bay on the west side of the island state. The surroundings are beautiful and the remote location makes it feel so bohemian. And although 'chiringuito' sounds small and cozy, that's the case Chiringuito Gracioneta Not really: it's a popular establishment that, in 2026, has become a bit of a victim of its own success... Unfortunately! A bit too crowded, too expensive, too much these days. Better go next door (see above).

The beach of Es Xarcu, and the restaurant of the same name, are on your list. to-do list. Uncomplicated and delicious. Also for a whole day. Fresh fish from the island, cooked in the oven according to a traditional method; the personal touch from Mariano Torres and his wife, who have been running the place for over thirty years. The restaurant is also renowned for its fresh prawns and hand-sliced ​​Iberian ham. Add a crisp, light rosé and relaxed vibes (plus a crowd that is exactly looking for that) on top of that, and you have a solid tip on your hands.

Especially because of the beautiful and well-executed looks: The Snack on the beach of Es Cavallet. More reasons to go? The good food, the good service and the nice sofas in front of the pavilion where - surprise - even on your own with a smoothie and lunch, you won't be turned away. Relaxed, that's what it is. But – let's be honest – also expensive and a bit (too) upgrade. Tasty but difficult but tasty. And we don't really need that loud music that comes on every now and then.

Are we tired of Ibiza yet? Uh… no? Is that bad? Some people think so fuck it, we like it there, especially as long as there are gems like these: La Escollera. One of the restaurants on the island that is open summer and winter and remains a delight when virtually everything else is deserted. Where? At the beautiful Playa Es Cavallet and Las Salinas, and a success for over 20 years thanks to the aforementioned prime location and the paella made according to the owners' 'Yaya' (grandmother in Catalan) recipe. It is a popular part of Ibiza over there at Playa Es Cavallet, yet La Escollera is remarkably relaxed, all things considered. Few things are better than a paella here under a parasol. Conviviality and good food are one thing black as the vacation mode on is, especially when you are in Ibiza are, of course. And here just happens to be a handsome beach house with a swimming pool (!) have settled in. Can't beat the north (but it is to be hoped that this does not become the new San Antonio...), the owners behind the restaurant also understand that Amante Ibiza Beach Club (Highly recommended for the food and the location, although we find the crowd that comes here a bit too… artificial (read: thick lips, pumped-up arms, and too much Gucci). The club opened a second location on the beach at Cala Nova with a panoramic view of the sea and the rugged coastal region where it is – let’s be honest – much more cheerful and relaxed. At Juntos House you can expect fresh ingredients on your plate, straight from the land where they practice regenerative agriculture. It is located a stone's throw from La Paloma and will open in 2021 Casa Lhasa. A lot smaller and much quieter than La Paloma, but certainly no less cozy. You would restaurant Aubergine You could easily call it a new classic. In the middle of the island, around the corner from Santa Gertrudis, you will find the handsome vegetarian restaurant and shop. A favorite of many, also because of the gorgeous mint green that predominates, inside and out. As mentioned, you will find the restaurant close to the Santa Gertrudis, which is beloved by yours truly (so central and, nitpicker, as far from the sea as possible on the island, and therefore – we think – less popular and thus wonderfully quiet, usually). The large and shady terrace and the ultimate hello-summer-holiday indoor area are delightful, as is the menu with plenty of vegetarian dishes made on their own land: Aubergine is not only a fine restaurant, but also a farm where all the delicious produce is grown.
