Are we going to talk about Ibiza again here? Uh... Yeah. Oh well. Still yes. Because we hear more than once that 'people' can no longer see the forest because of the tips and we wouldn't be ourselves if we didn't listen, right? Thus, a path through the forest with all those wonderful hotels in Ibiza that we have collected over the years, in a nice and clear overview. All you have to do is choose. Enjoy!
Still getting lost in the forest that is Ibiza? Then we have much more here nice and pleasant places in Ibiza and a ebook full of great addresses.
Hand in your own bosom: it is not the first time that we say here that this is really really really really, is the nicest place to stay. In Ibiza in this case. But still… This is it. Real. Mark our words. Boutique hotel Can Sastre Ibiza is still an undiscovered pearl that, we bet, will hardly be able to visit in a few years because it is always full. How do we know that so definitively? Because Can Sastre Ibiza, a small-scale agriturismo actually, has that wonderful, perfectly balanced combination of looks and hospitality, delicious food and a location that is off the beaten track yet close to everything. Boutique hotel Can Sastre, remember that name.

You can stop reading after this and book right away because this is the nicest new B&B in Ibiza, near Santa Gertrudis: The Guardian House Ibiza. Run by an inspiring Dutch couple and a picture-perfect accommodation that – ha! – is not unaffordable and yet is located in the nicest spot on the island (Santa Gertrudis is located in the middle of Ibiza and is by far our favorite base). When you book, pay attention: there are two large rooms with a private bathroom, the rest of the rooms have a shared bathroom. That makes a considerable difference in the price, so you know why. Everything is clean and also oh so nice. You eat eco-breakfasts from the nearby Together Farm (from the nicest & most creative entrepreneurs on the island who also Restaurant Juntos House in San Mateo (go!) & run the shop Parada in Santa Gertrudis).
And while you're in Santa Gertrudis: skip in no case Can can fabrics for Italian wines and the fine food bar. En At Bibi's, the best bakery on the island.
On an island with so much to do, a quiet home base for the whole family is so wonderful. That's exactly what Casa Terra Familia is: the family-run, eco-luxury 500-year-old finca has four family suites around a large swimming pool and beautiful garden, between San Rafael and Santa Gertrudis. Each suite can be booked separately (but renting the entire house is of course a dream!), and is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 1 or 2 children, and is fully equipped for both adults and children. And further? Furthermore kunst, palm trees, Ibiza Town ten minutes away by car and everything oh so beautiful. Moreover, the suites are designed with a family in mind: literally everything has been thought of. May we forever take up residence in the Colibri? Yes? Nice. There is also food and drink: breakfast with fresh, seasonal products anyway, served by the pool (indoor or outdoor), or in your suite. En during the high season you can - just register so that they know how many groceries need to be bought - for dinner: from pizza or paella evenings to a menu from the grill.
The finca is ecologically conscious from A to Z and functions entirely on solar energy, while the water supply mainly comes from rainwater. There is always a shady spot in the garden if you (and the kids) want to get out of the spacious swimming pool. In that case, there is also a football field and kids can pick the ripe fruit from the own fruit orchard and explore the herb and vegetable garden. There are plenty of games inside the communal living room and the family-friendly beach of Talamanca is a short walk from Ibiza Town. Soft sand, clear water, nicer catering... And within 10 minutes you can/they can simply lie back in their nest.
A long week - or even two weeks - of holiday adds up to four Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay available to everyone (read: financially feasible)? No. That's definitely not the case. But should everyone experience Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay at least once? Yes. Actually yes. Rarely have we felt this way senang and in our place. Complete peace, complete pampering, complete bliss. From the food to the excellent service to the location and looks.
We wrote an extensive piece about course. You can read that here: Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay
For those who have not yet booked their Ibiza trip for this summer and are looking for the ultimate place to finally get that well-deserved rest, this is the golden tip. Bee Finca Can Marti you must be. This exclusive eco-hotel is much more than just another hotel. It is a breathtaking oasis of peace and quiet in the middle of a rolling green valley in the far north of Ibiza. Just the road there - the idyllic forest path between fields full of wild flowers - is a gift. And then the party must (may) begin.
Once you pass the wooden gate and walk up the path towards the 400-year-old finca, it seems as if you have entered a completely different world. The hills surrounding the sheltered valley almost look like green walls that make this secure piece of land a true paradise.
The land of the Agroturismo has an agricultural history dating back to 1600 and is filled with lush flowers, organic orchards, vegetable gardens, strawberry fields and terraces full of olive groves and vineyards. The vegetables and fruit are sustainably produced here according to permaculture principles and prepared with love for the daily breakfast and also for sale in the extremely idyllic shop on site.
Hidden among the pine trees is a magically beautiful natural swimming pool (the first in Ibiza), with luxurious beds and beautiful thatched parasols placed around it. Don't be surprised if you bump into a donkey or a few chickens on the path there. So you can have a delicious dinner without staying overnight! Make a reservation. Read more
There are nice hotels and there are tasty hotels and Hotel Petunias falls into the latter category. You should know that it's an adults-only hotel (probably one of the reasons it's so good), and that it belongs to the Beaumier group, a chain that has recently opened one impressive hotel after another. Here, at Petunia, you'll be staying near Cala Carbó, one of our favorites. in the know beaches that the general public does not know how to find (or does not want to find), and where you can enjoy a delicious meal in the simple fish restaurant. And you certainly won't be able to leave the hotel - we wouldn't either if we could spend a few days here without mommamama.
In the far north-east of Ibiza, a friendly couple run their 7-room hotel, Can Talaias. The communal space is full of colorful art, but the white base keeps it fresh and light. The main reason to stay here is the aforementioned couple, their good taste (in everything), the short walk to a beautiful beach and the stunning view. Can Talaias
Parco is one glamping with the luxury of a boutique hotel. Or well, actually it is more of a boutique hotel, glamping-style. There are wooden houses, safari tents and... cabins, furnished in finca style and everything oh so wildly attractive. All the best of this place is, next to the formal and casual looks and the nice atmosphere, that it is extremely – mind you – affordable! Well the formal and casual looks that make Ibiza so popular – rattan rocking chairs, strings of lights in the trees and more of that – not the costs. Ha! There is jeu-de-boulding, there is a gigantic swimming pool and you can enjoy something to drink all day long in the restaurant and at the fruit bar. So here: glamping it is.
Picture this: wake up in a kingsize bed with the sun on your face. The glory. The rooms of Can Domo are decorated with natural tones and materials, which gives it a serene yet luxurious vibe radiates. The hotel has three types of rooms: standard room, deluxe rooms (with small pool) and the super deluxe room. All rooms have a terrace where you can relax.
And if that's not enough, the hotel also has a reputable restaurant. Speaking of… The restaurant received a real Michelin star in 2019. You understand. The chef will introduce you to the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. Oh, and the vegetables are fresh from the own garden. How about homemade olive oil to spice up the dishes Next Level to bring. Praise everywhere.

First of all, Google Maps indicates a completely different GPS location than indicated on the website, and on closer inspection the address on the website is also incorrect. The best way to join for the first time Finca The Yard Ibiza To get there, you can drive to the riding school nearby - which is located in a beautiful nature reserve that you have probably never been to - and wait patiently until the good-natured gray-haired Italian lady who runs the finca comes to pick you up. From there it is a number of bumpy dirt paths and straight through some bushes (an old duck barely makes it) until you arrive at the centuries-old finca owned by an Italian family.

The resort is surrounded by Mediterranean gardens and of course has a swimming pool. Hang out there, together with the little one, or go on the swing. There are lovely family rooms, but also bungalows for more privacy. They are somewhat hidden in the gardens, overlooking the vegetable and herb gardens. There is also a kitchen in your cabin for a while, so you can decide for yourself whether you want to cook an evening or outsource it. If you choose the latter, you can sit down on site at the associated restaurant for some fish. Of course, just a cocktail is also possible. Everything is decorated in a nice Ibiza style, with lots of white and some colored prints.
Anyone who was paying close attention would spot ours Ibiza hotspot list (okay, okay, it's quite a laundry list, but then again it's our favorite European island, so sue us ;-)) to the restaurant Corsario Ibiza, a hidden restaurant on the edge of Ibiza town, on top of a mountain. Not that well known at all and (partly for that reason?) all the more fun.
But let's be honest: the hotel to which the restaurant belongs also deserves quite a bit of attention itself. Meet Hotel La Torre del Canonigo, Ibiza (Ibiza Town). The owners themselves call their hotel an 'old place with a modern soul' and that is formulated exactly right: beautifully classic on the hill of Dalt Vila (the old town of Ibiza), quintessentially Spanish and meanwhile equipped with all modern luxury and design details that make the hotel an absolute winner. Quickly on to Hotel La Torre del Canónigo, trust us.

If you look at the pictures of Las Mimosas Ibiza on the internet, you will see nice white flashed images: a picture perfect summer whole. And that – to be honest – is not that far from the truth. It is predominantly white, the audience is dressed in Ibiza (hello white dresses and cowboy boots) and it is uncomplicatedly relaxed. Oh: and a TOP breakfast, which is not unimportant to mention. You can find the hotel in the bay of San Antonio. Don't be alarmed: we are not necessarily charmed by that city, but you don't have to go to the city itself and many of the nicest/most beautiful beaches are just a stone's throw away. Moreover, it really is a prime location to explore the island from: everything is twenty minutes away (okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but you know what we mean).
We literally ran into it during one of ours hikes in the woods just behind our own house. 'Fincadelica' is a beautifully renovated authentic, typical Spanish finca of about 300 years old. Surrounding it are twenty hectares of land, where a variety of biodynamic vegetables and fruits are grown by a small club dedicated farmers. Completely desolate, surrounded by beautiful views over the rolling landscape surrounding San Lorenzo. You are in a true hidden paradise here. The Finca itself is equipped with all the style, luxury and comfort, with a touch of arty/ gipsy/ bohemian and authentic Ibiza rock & roll.

Not a hotel, but a beautiful finca. This estate consists of a main house and a guesthouse that was transformed into an absolute in 2018 high end estate with a big nod to the Blakstad style! How about lazing by the pool and in the evening barbecuing? Oh, and on the roof terrace you have a view of Santa Gertrudis from did-I-have-you-there. You will find the villa in the heart of the island, just a four-minute drive from Santa Gertrudis, the most beautiful and vibrant village on the island.
