My Amsterdam... Even though we live in Breda these days, Amsterdam remains the city where I can be found twice a week in 'the hospitality industry', as it's called. Testing new things is and remains the most enjoyable hobby (always with a croquette sandwich from Van Dobben to start the evening or to end it).

I don't think I've ever received so many DMs asking for tips during our vacation before. So there you go. 2 posts in one day: sending Essaouira to everyone as well.

And since I always have to look up exactly how to spell that myself, a raise of your hand 🙋🏼‍♀️ will suffice for the links to our accommodations and a digital (Google) map (that map contains all the links to the accommodations where we unfortunately couldn't stay because they were full, but we did visit them and they are now on the wishlist 💛)

Essaouira is lighter, fresher, smaller, less hectic and busy than Marrakech, and has so many great spots! Including pottery and painting, because when life gives you Morocco… ;).

We booked everything via @bookingcom: clear overview, fast, and always the best addresses (although Barts Boekje naturally helps separate the wheat from the chaff).

(Plus: there is a really nice Marrakech guide in the shop (bartsboekjetravelguides.com or bartsboekje.com/shop): I will give this a small update as soon as possible, but it is actually already 95% up to date and the Google Maps that goes with the Guide is 100% (because I used it last week and updated it).
