A day at the zoo is probably (not yet) a regular occurrence at the weekend. Admire wild (and less wild) animals; the kids love it. Especially the big five, which you can spot everywhere in South Africa but of course much less here, are wonderful to watch: from huge elephants to dangerous lions and leopards. South African Tourism is putting these wild animals in the spotlight throughout the month of March with a new campaign: Safari Portraits. And the kids will love it! From March 11 to March 31 you can have a safari portrait made with your kids. You can choose from a number of photos of animal families - from hyenas to lions to elephants - and then 'recreate' them with your own kids.
