Saint-Jean, a new and nice café in Amsterdam downtown

Located in a lovely corner building on Amsterdam's Lindengracht Holy-Jeans down, from uber enthusiastic entrepreneur Yann (Yann, became 'Jean' and 'Jean' in turn: Saint-Jean. That must be the Reasoning behind that name, we guess). Saint -Jean has a wonderful minimalist look cool with beyond the counter a few lovely benches with marble tables. You can also sit outside and enjoy people watching here, especially at the weekend.

The team behind Saint -Jeans is certainly not just coming along and has been in the hospitality industry for a while. That's how they used to be Rustic Pastry: vegan high quality goodies that you could order via the online shop and that were brought to your home. After a while it was like that hyping that it was decided to open a physical café. A place where people can come in, sit down and enjoy delicious food live. Just get out of the house, that's Saint-Jean.
The idea was simple. Vegan snacks, but so good that you cannot distinguish them from the “normal/familiar”. Well, that works. Order your one cinnamon bun or galette (you know, one of those round rubber boats made of puff pastry with delicious fruit or chocolate filling), then you don't know what you are tasting. Lots of flavor and spices, so yes, just very good.
We can also write home about the coffee. This delicious coffee is made from the beans of Moto Coffee, which are burned carefully and sustainably. Yann (the owner) has the organic 'Pa Loa' blend in his espresso grinder and 'Dak' beans are used for filter coffee. You can expect endless advice from the coffee makers, so that you certainly don't throw back your sips disappointed.
