The sleeping place for the most southeastern point of Portugal: Conversas de Alpendre

During the homestay at Conversas de Alpendre you quickly feel part of the family. This boutique hotel is more like a larger family home and offers everything you need to enjoy the Portuguese sun. Just 20 minutes from the Spanish border, with plenty to visit in the area, you will find peace, space and conviviality here.

Whether you want to lie on the cabanas by the pool all day, curl up on your own terrace with a book or explore the surroundings of the Eastern Algarve, you've come to the right place. The friendly hostess and her team immediately make you feel like you are at home and are happy to share all the local tips with you (be sure to visit the Wild Thing wine bar). The multi-room house is located in a quiet area and offers views of the orange grove (and even the sea in the distance). There is an outdoor bar for drinks, a nice small-scale restaurant for breakfast and the daily menu. On the 'rooftop' you can enjoy the wellness options.

The children can use the small playground a little further away while you swim laps in the heated (!) outdoor swimming pool. If you want to make it even more special, book the TreeHouse. You can safely call this recently completed 'room' a suite and it is a real, yes, treehouse. You climb the stairs up the tree and then spend the night in a wooden hut (handy: you can take your suitcase up with a rope lift) while you enjoy an even better view about those orange groves and coastline of Eastern Algarve.
