And then on to the restaurant. Halfway in the atrium is Botanica, the hotel's restaurant. We must definitely give a compliment to the cozy corners and tables, because you can really enjoy taking a seat at the round tables with a bench in the shape of a crescent moon. Also nice is a spot among the green of the tall plants in the lounge chairs, where you can relax after a day in the city.
The rooms at Voco are wonderfully spacious. Even the cozy (the smallest room type) is wonderfully light and spacious. If you ask us? You also have a cozy one that overlooks the atrium, so do it. You can also book suites that offer a little more space, a seat, a sofa; you know it – just a little more luxury or space to get some work done from behind a desk. Also perfect for your children, because the sofa then becomes a sofa bed in no time and a baby bed can be set up in no time. Just indicate this when you make your reservation and a child can do the laundry – or go straight into bed.
In the evening you can eat a mix of smaller dishes at Botanica. Fish, meat but also many vegetarian options; something for everyone. The “cabbage” - we can call it pointed cabbage - is delicious and must be ordered. Top it off with a (sweet) potato fries and your dinner is complete. If you are staying overnight you can also take a combination deal (hotel plus dinner), but do take a look at the website for the nice packages that the hotel offers.
Did we already tell you that it is also wonderful to have a snack here with a good glass of wine or draft beer? Well here it is. Are you coming with the kids? Coloring pages are ready and pencils (sharpened, we sometimes see differently) are delivered in a container with love. Everyone is guaranteed to relax.
If you don't think it's time for bed yet, you can easily roll from restaurant to bar. Bee Ultramine you will find a wonderfully mixed audience; young, old, hotel guest or arriving from the street. This mix of people might make the atmosphere extra good. At Ultramarijn you are, as it were, on board a ship, hence the sea theme that plays out both in the bar and on the cocktail menu. From east to west, from south to north; a cocktail is based on all corners of the world - we think it's fun and original. If you have an absolute favorite classic, it will also be made with love and skill by the skilled staff. The safe (from the banking era of the building) can still be found downstairs in the cocktail bar. So definitely take a look.
