Very fair? Post-Instagram I thought you wrote avocado with 2 d's, not together, no, you get it * monkey with hands over eyes *. And yes, then you see them pop up left and right, all over the place, those green things (because they like what they photograph), they stick (on your retina), you just touch them (instagram made us do it, oh, the peer pressure) and you won't order anything else anywhere else. Anyway, avocados. Nowadays you can eat them anywhere, but Walter Benedict's in The Hague is also a must. We love'n the place anyway: it is friendly, cozy, and delicious. So in the morning, but certainly also later in the day when dinner is on the table. Oysters to start with, and French classics such as Steak Tartare, Moules Frites, Boeuf Bourguignon, Côte de Boeuf for two, a stuffed Portobello and Cèpes Gratin for the side. Nothing to complain about there on the Denneweg. Walter Benedict
