In the greenery of Almere Oosterwold you will find Life Contains Beautiful Things (LCBT), a combination of an urban vineyard and a bed & breakfast. It is the result of Shirley and Barry's dream to share their passion for wine and nature with others.
LCBT has three attractive boutique lodges, each with its own driveway, covered terrace with a view of the vineyard and situated on the edge of the Kathedralenbos forest. There is also a sauna and an outdoor pool. The vineyard itself is what it's all about. With straight lines and vines spaced 1,3 meters apart, the vineyard is symmetrical. Groesbeek it isNear Nijmegen, it's even called a wine village, and for good reason. There are six Groesbeek winegrowers in total, and between 2001 and 2006, they planted a massive number of vines along the slopes surrounding the village. Groesbeek offers wonderful hiking and cycling trails through the vineyards.

Roelof Visscher always wanted to be a farmer from a young age, and he succeeded. He now owns 8,5 hectares in Bentelo with his wife Ilse and son Mart. The Visscher farm processes grapes into white, red, and rosé wines. Their Twente wines are highly praised; in 2020, the rosé itself was voted the best rosé in the Low Countries at the keuring (contest) in the Netherlands.
