Yalo Urban Boutique Hotel we can quite all-round experience to call. After drinking cocktails at the fancy bar, we sit down in the restaurant. On the menu you will find real classics 'with a twist', where influences from all over the world come together. A specialty are the dishes with regional products from Ghent, taste the culture of the hip city, literally. The tables are set for breakfast, lunch, aperitif and dinner. We could sit like this all day. Judging by the pictures, the ground floor is in good condition. Ultimately, of course, we come to sleep at Yalo, in the lovely warm, cozy rooms. The hotel has 92 rooms with different room types to choose from (yes, plenty of choice). This is how you can choose downtown of uptown, but just what you like. We call the rooms hip, are furnished with vintage decor (even a retro record player including LPs!) and have beautiful large windows with a view of the city.
At Yalo you can of course enjoy your oh-so-nice room all day long, you can also see a lot from your window. It's also nice to go to the 6th floor and spot the Krook, the Vooruit, the Boekentoren and other landmarks from the rooftop. Or fun to visit these places (rent a bike and explore all of Ghent). The rooftop bar is also available to rent privately for events. Need a location for work meetings? You've come to the right place at Yalo. The hotel can organize meetings & events for up to 100 people, including a nice break. For small events there is a private dining room - in James Bond style - (if you want it). And Last but not least to mention, Yalo is the second Belgian hotel that can call itself a member of the 'Green Globe Certification' society, the international certificate for sustainable tourism.
