These are the most beautiful accommodations in Comporta, Portugal

Come Portugal. Komportugal. Comporta. See? More and more tourists are finding their way to this coastal town about an hour and a half south of Lisbon. And for good reason. Despite the many beautiful accommodations, the atmosphere in Comparta is (still) pleasantly relaxed, and the surroundings, full of rice paddies and vineyards, pine forests, and lagoons, are beautiful. Oh, and don't forget the beaches. These are the most beautiful accommodations in Comporta (spoiler: there are quite a few).

Casinha Rosalia Carrasqueira

Casinha Rosalia Carrasqueira

Small, fine and handsome. Three words to describe Casinha Rosalia Carrasqueira A cozy place whether you're alone or with someone else. Bikes are parked right outside, so you can come and go as you please. Although it's tempting to linger a little too long under the terracotta-glazed rain shower. We'd love to have that at home too.

Villa da Comporta

Villa da Comporta

Not small, but nice. Villa da Comporta has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a swimming pool. The beach is also just a five-minute walk away. The interior features extensive use of light wood and rattan, adding to the surf vibe. You can enjoy drinks for hours at the large oval dining table, or outside under the canopy.

Comporta.threeHouse

The only complicated thing about Comporta.threeHouse That's the name. It helps that once you've visited, you won't forget the place. This villa has four bedrooms and is spaciously laid out. The kitchen/diner has a large glass wall that slides open completely, making it feel almost like you're cooking outdoors. There's also a swimming pool here. Not very large, but big enough to cool off or swim a few laps.

B.Hostel

B.Hostel

B.HostelA choice. Partly because of the homemade cake you can enjoy by the pool. But especially because of the minimalist family suites. Even the bunk beds look beautiful. Although the adult bed is probably even more comfortable. The only downside is that the hotel is located on a busy street, so truly relaxing by the pool is not an option.

Pure Bungalow

Pure Bungalow

The tastefully furnished units of Pure Bungalow are located just outside Comporta, in Carvalhal. Perhaps even nicer than Comporta itself. The village itself is small and friendly, with a few restaurants, cafes, and shops. You'll find a mix of locals and people who have a holiday home in the area. Praia do Carvalhal is wide, clean, surrounded by dunes, and somewhat quieter than the beaches closer to Comporta.

Quinta da Comporta

Quinta da Comporta

Marta, owner of the beautiful Martine Love label, lives and works in Lisbon. From there, she creates her hand-embroidered dresses with the best fit ever. She also regularly travels to Comporta, one of the most beautiful parts of Portugal, where, in a wonderful hotel, she managed to secure her first permanent address for shopping for her dresses.  Quinta da Comporta It's no wonder it's her favorite hotel, because it feels like time has stood still here. You feel like you're in an oasis of peace. And that's sometimes nice. immense? Exactly.

Sublime Gate

Sublime Gate

Sublime Gate is by far the most expensive hotel in the area but… So beautiful! If you stay at the Sublime Hotel, you can walk from your (super luxurious) property to the white private beach in front of the door for a morning swim and then join the extensive breakfast buffet. Then a few hours in the spa with small pool in front of the door and in the evening you dine like a star under the stars. Then crawl into your pretty basket and repeat one and other the next day - that's it. There are various room types, from simple (which is utterly beautiful and luxurious at Sublime Comporta) to a magnificent villa with two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, underfloor heating, a private pool, and plenty of outdoor space to retreat to. There are fourteen bedrooms and suites, including cabanas for two, three or five people.

Spatia Comporta

Spatia Comporta

There is no shortage of space at Spatia ComportaThe fact that there are no fewer than 150 photos on Booking.com speaks volumes. Free, flowing spaces—indoors and outdoors—are the essence of this resort. The various buildings blend seamlessly into the Mediterranean landscape, in complete harmony with the natural surroundings. Meanwhile, we ourselves are more than happy to immerse ourselves in the luxury that this place exudes.

Casa Idalia Boutique Hotel

Love the breakfast, love the pool, love the garden, love the mid-century interior and love the hosts. Lou and Charly know everything about the area surrounding the Casa Idalia Boutique Hotel and are more than happy to reserve tables at their favorite restaurants for their guests. That's a real win.
