Al Ninen, Amsterdam

Your newest Monday favorite is in Amsterdam's Jordaan. His name is Al Ninèn and you want to get your plate of comfort-plus pasta, really - the tortellini, the lasagna, the tiramisu, even the chocolate has nothing to do with your other standard takeaway addresses, so incredibly delicious! Owner Manuele Monari, a pleasant bald Italian with taste (“Are those Miu Mius?” My shoes. And he saw it. Bam. Bonus points. May also have to do with Monari's shoe family history) and a rich cooking history. He collected his favorite authentic recipes from Italy (from the small villages, which are the better ones), shared them with his Dutch friends, collected even more good ingredients (only the best, according to the 'laws of 'di mamma') and cooks and so sells it on Westerstraat. The aforementioned pastas are a must, but don't miss the Italian cheeses, charcuterie, wines, vinegars, oils and, according to many Italians, the tastiest chocolate on earth. Al Ninen
