We actually wanted to announce it last week, but it just wasn't museum weather. Nevertheless, during those warm late summer days, we have already checked out the museum rooms of Boijmans Van Beuningen for you with a few 4 years old. Conclusion? The exhibition 'Everything Kids' is highly recommended. It is an art exhibition with videos, installations, works of art and sculptures, which are alternated with stations where children can get to work themselves, with clay for example. The result - lots of turds, lots of penises, you understand - ends up in a display case. Many works of art hang at children's eye level, and there are even some that you can crawl into. Children can take off their shoes in the halls, read books, build towers and pretend they are at home. This way they can really experience art and, without being overly obvious, they are made to think about themselves and the world around them. In short: we were not bored for a second.
