It's a comedy theater where you can laugh all night long at the funniest improvisations, sketches and songs, while drinks are also served. It often starts a bit later, so you can also perfectly combine it with a bite to eat beforehand. We say: perfect date spot.
If you want to go for something more romantic, like a glass of wine by candlelight, you can go to Café Binnenvisser. The interior, the dimmed lights and the delicious wines create an ultimate romantic atmosphere for a guaranteed successful date. Oh yes, all the dishes look like works of art, so if you want to take a picture with a sneaky preview of your date, you've come to the right place.
Delicious wines and a cozy place, say no more. Bar Parry is a wine bar in the always fun Jordaan. Perfect for a date night with your brand new lover or should we still call him/her your situationship. Well, it doesn't matter, because at Bar Parry you get to know each other better with a few glasses of wine anyway. The owners of Bar Parry recently opened a new place: a little lighter, a little bigger, but still the same very relaxed vibe. Plus: both businesses don't take reservations so no pressure.
Is this the second or maybe even the third date and do you know each other a bit better? Then, we think, it is time for the next step. Yes, we are talking about sharing your food in a nice romantic way. At Gitane you can have the option to shared dining. If this is still a step too far, which we completely understand, then you can also just go here for a drink, because it is simply a very cozy place for any occasion.
Busy? Or a change of pace/ the evening is still young? Go restaurant hopping! A little further on, on the next corner, you will find Nonna, a contemporary Italian restaurant.
Walking is always a good idea, also for a date. With Tassie you will not only get to know a part of Amsterdam better, but also each other. Tassie is a tour where you get – you guessed it – a tassie. Attention: cuteness overload! At the Ridammerhoeve Goat Farm in the Amsterdam Forest you will find the cutest baby goats, which you can also pet. Of course, you and your date have to be animal lovers, but it is also the perfect way to see how well your date treats animals. Because who doesn't like baby goats? Major order of flags. Furthermore, this is just a wonderfully relaxing place to get to know each other better while enjoying the homemade ice cream they sell here. If you still haven't finished talking after this, you can always take a walk through the Amsterdam Forest.
Watching the sunset with your date is always romantic, but how extra romantic to do this with a view of the skyline of beautiful Amsterdam! At the top of the A'DAM Tower, on the 20th floor, you will find the Moon Bar. Here you can eat delicious food, but you can also just have a nice cocktail or something else tasty. What makes this bar extra special is that it slowly rotates 360 degrees. Don't worry, it goes so slowly that you won't feel it - so you should be able to keep those cocktails down! If you want to spice up the date, there is for the real daredevils among us the famous swing on the tower. Here you swing over the edge of the tower with a beautiful view over the city. A bit exciting of course, so a moment of bonding with your date.
