Waking up in Tuscany is the sound of crickets in the background, a cup of tea in your hand, and a view of the hills. A little later, you roll out your mat for an outdoor yoga session.

That feeling of space and tranquility is exactly what we experience during the Yoga Week Retreat in Tuscany Experienced. Six days of yoga, meditation, and breathwork, interspersed with moments to simply be: lunch in the garden, a dip in the pool, or a walk through the hills. And in the evenings, enjoying long dinners and conversations together.

What we remember most is how each day had its own theme, inspired by the five Chinese elements. And yes, the result: getting closer to yourself, step by step. A gift to yourself this week, where you can completely let go and recharge. At SUITSUIT, travel is always about more than just seeing new places. And this retreat was perfect proof of that.

Kim van der Veer began her career as a lawyer in the Zuidas business district, but illness and burnout led her to a profound turning point. Emotionally and physically exhausted, she reached the point where daylight became unbearable. She traveled to India, visited an ashram, and reconnected with yoga, Ayurveda, and herself. Years later, she founded RASA up, a positive and transformative environment where women, especially (expectant) mothers, can rediscover themselves through the principles of Ayurveda and Yoga.

One of Kim's core programs is The RetreatA five-day, fully catered stay in the "Land of Yemaya" near Bellingwolde (Groningen). This is a place where women can unwind, rediscover their intuition and creativity, and reconnect with themselves and nature. Expect four nights and five days with accommodation, all meals (Ayurvedic breakfast, lunch, and dinner), yoga, Ayurveda, rituals, natural swimming, a sauna, and a very special surprise.

And in addition to her live retreats, Kim also organizes various other programs through RASA, including online workshops such as “42 days of maternity leave with Ayurveda”, focused on the period after childbirth.
