Bali Eco Stay, Bali
Please note, here comes the bit of typical Dutch honesty: Canggu and Ubud, from me (Nina, yours truly @ Barts Green Corner) it is not really necessary. It is busy, there are too many polluting scooters and there is waste everywhere along the streets. Your green heart can't help but ache. That's mine anyway. Of course have Canggu and Ubud so their reasons for visiting are true, such as the nice places to sleep, such as here en here, and nice restaurants to eat, such as here. But then quickly get out of the hustle and bustle and into nature! Do it! To Bali Eco Stay, for example, which has now become a personal favorite in Bali. The resort is located on a mountain in the middle of a tropical forest with a view over the rice fields. Bam. You won't find it greener or more Balinese. The eco lodges are open (read: without windows), so you can hear the trees blowing at night or the rain pattering down during the rainy season. You have to be a bit adventurous, but you will sleep wonderfully under your mosquito net with the sounds of nature.
If you could use a little rest, feel free to book some more nights here. Reading a book, a walk to the private waterfall or one of the activities such as mountain biking or a walk through it food forest make sure you don't get bored, promise. Although boredom is of course also an option. Just stare at the blowing palm trees with the sound of the flowing stream. You got me! Bali Eco Stay was built with nature and local people first. Some of the ingredients of the tasty food come from our own country. And the lodge is always developing to contribute even better to eco tourism. All in all, it is a place that you will remember forever and dream back to once you are back at your desk at home. Again: promise. Bali Eco Stay, Bali
