Bar Alt Amsterdam (south) (Permanently closed)

Bar Alt

Bar Alt

Bar Alt So, a name that comes from Altbier or simply Alt, a top-fermented beer that originally comes from Germany but nowadays more English pal ale makes you think. Or an amber-colored Belgian liquor. In short: the more special beers. That is what Bar Alt Amsterdam stands for: a showcase of the latest developments in the 'European Beer Belt' and gastronomy from all over the world. Quite an ambitious goal, but we think they can do it.

And they are open! Deep in the South, but damn it's going to be a good one!

Do we have your attention? Because it should

Of course there is a fixed supply Two Chefs Brewing on the menu, but the duo behind Two Chefs Brewing – and now also behind Bar Alt – also looked for fresh beer from international collaborations. Worldwide. This resulted in a – mind you – 20-strong tap wall with funky flavors, limited brews, choice beers and barrel aged specials. Holla.

And then we have to talk about the food. But first we will taste it ourselves from the (almost) daily changing menu with about 10 to 12 dishes. Stay tuned.

(Oh yes! There will be a large terrace for summer days and you can also get there easily by car)
