Bart Bouwt: Crisp Sheets
Sometimes you see something on social media and you are lost: Going. Not. More. Out. You. Head. So I have that as we speak with the new sheets from the Amsterdam brand Crisp Sheets. The new, dark blue one with a ruffled edge from above to be precise. Yep, I hear you thinking... Don't those bloggers always get everything for free? Well, certainly not. And completely right too. The undersigned has simply paid for three (that is: three from Crisp Sheets) of her now quite impressive duvet cover sets - again: that is nothing special. What is somewhat remarkable in itself is that this impressive collection is now starting to take on the size of my cheese board addiction (oops)...

Speaking of which, someone recently asked me where this addiction comes from... Simple: it started in my student days in a room where there was no room for a table or a coffee table or a desk. Or an extra seat. A cardboard box/crate/ottoman with cheese board (and possibly a cushion) = a beautiful table or extra seat (the latter not on an old box, but with a cushion). And the rest of the time the shelves fit perfectly against the wall.
I have the same problem with duvet cover sets (or is it sets?): your room immediately brightens up and the rest of the time they are neatly stacked in a glass cabinet. And now there is one more thing I want. Must. Real. Because then my collection will really be complete. Real. Just a little more time... First the tax authorities, then it's your turn again, dear Crisp Sheet-ers.
Did you know that there is also a mini collection? You can read that here: mini Crisp Sheet collection
