Yep, we're being silly here on this site when it comes to ours dearest favorite brands for the brood. We mean every word of it (you can read about the most beautiful ones here children's clothing brands from our own country, a list that is steadily growing), here about the best ones children's stores in the country en here an ultimate shopping list for the mini. The most beautiful, softest, most original and most sustainable brands to pass on or sell (see Vito Sells). Nice. Beautiful. But let's face it: who has the budget to have the little stuff running around in these pretty things all the time? We don't. Of course you have the well-known chains (mwah), but we prefer to put them in the new, affordable, sustainable collection of a major party such as Arkett. Beautiful original clothing that the entire daycare center does not walk in (crawls/rolls/tumbles), thank you very much.

Arket was secretly already our regular go to shop for beautiful, original items to alternate with the small independent brands that we love so much. And now the Scandi chain comes with good news: a new sustainable collection with the well-known small Arket prices. Rompers, sweaters and trousers made of soft organic cotton and merino wool in pastel colors and fine, tasteful prints.

All cotton used in the collection is organic or sourced from the Better Cotton Initiative, a global program that promotes measurable and continuous improvements for the environment, farming communities and the economies of cotton-producing areas. The own collection is supplemented with a series of soft accessories from other responsible makers – such as natureZOO, Maileg and Meri Meri.
