Step 1: Thorough cleaning

Step 1: Thorough cleaning

Step one is simple: cleanse your face thoroughly. This is important if you want a healthy(er) skin. By removing dirt, excess sebum and make-up residue daily, you prevent clogged pores and keep your skin clean. Choose a facial cleanser that suits your skin type: a gentle cleansing milk for dry or sensitive skin, a foaming cleaner for normal to dry skin, or a refreshing cleansing gel for oily skin.

Cleanse your face thoroughly both morning and night. Wet your skin with lukewarm water and apply the cleanser. Massage it in with circular movements, so that dirt and impurities are well removed. Rinse and pat your face dry with a clean, soft towel. By doing this consistently, you have a good basis for a radiant skin.

Step 2: Exfoliate for smooth and even skin

Step 2: Exfoliate for smooth and even skin

The next step is exfoliate, an important step if you want an even skin. By removing dead skin cells, you prevent clogged pores and reduce blemishes. Salicylic acid is a powerful ingredient that cleanses deep into the pores and is especially suitable for oily or impure skin. Glycolic acid and lactic acid are also good choices for a smooth, radiant skin.

Exfoliate your skin once or twice a week to prevent irritation. Apply the exfoliating product to clean, dry skin and massage it in gently with your fingertips or a cotton pad. If the product needs to work, follow the instructions on the packaging. Then rinse it off or leave it on, depending on the type of exfoliant. Finish with a nourishing cream or serum to hydrate your skin well.

Step 3: Nourish and restore the skin

Step 3: Nourish and restore the skin

Vitamin E is a powerhouse in skin care. It soothes, restores and protects your skin from harmful external influences and helps build a healthy skin barrier. For an even stronger effect, you can combine it with other antioxidants, such as vitamin C.

Choose a cream or serum that contains vitamin E as a key ingredient. Apply this product daily after cleansing and exfoliating. Take a small amount in your palms and spread it evenly over your face and neck. Massage it gently with upward movements to stimulate blood flow and give your skin a firming effect.

Step 4: Use an eye mask

Step 4: Use an eye mask

Do you suffer from dark circles, bags or tired eyes? A eye mask can help. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, caffeine and vitamin C provide a brightening and hydrating boost. Use weekly for a fresh, rested look.

Apply the eye mask to clean, dry skin. Place the pads under your eyes and leave them on for ten to fifteen minutes. When you remove the mask, you can gently pat the serum (that the mask leaves behind) with your fingers. Your eyes will immediately look fresher and more rested.
