Don't quit this one: boutique hotel MalaQuita in Ibiza
About Ibiza do we already have pages (a whole e-book even) written in full. Although the island life is anything but rushed, the island's hotspots are opening faster than we can type. Luckily, we still find the time every now and then to highlight one of them, and today we're doing it with boutique hotel MalaQuita.
Boutique hotel MalaQuita is located in the northeast of Ibiza. Close to Santa Eulalia, Es Canar and Santa Gertrudis, and therefore also close to a lot of beach clubs and beach bars. That's great, but you don't have to leave the hotel to swim, sunbathe and eat extensively. In the restaurant, where chef Silvestre Cortazar waves the ladle, you can sit down to Ibenco Caribbean taste the flavours. Much more refined than what ends up on your plate at most beach bars.
In the interior for a change no 50 shades of beige, but colour. Lots of colour. For example, there is a room that is completely pink. An easy job for the painters, because not much had to be masked off. Everything pink, but anything but hysterical. Salmon pink is something different than neon pink, and the minimalist interior also does a lot. All the rooms are different, so if pink is not your thing, that is no problem. The colourful theme is also continued outside. On the bottom of the pool, in addition to blue tiles, there are also yellow tiles, it does not get any sunnier.
