It is definitely not the prettiest street in Utrecht, but there is a lot of fun going on here. In a former office building on Europalaan, across from Park Transwijk, is where the trendy hangout The City Garden. Here you can go every day of the week for breakfast, lunch, coffee, a beer and finger food. You can eat all this inside the industrial interior, but when the weather is nice you can also do it with your feet in the sand at a picnic table or in a beanbag. Kudos for that because exactly what you want as soon as the sun shows itself for a moment. The spaces above the catering area are staffed by young creatives and in the weekend there is always an activity to visit. Expect freembo's, yoga, red trucks, DJs, games and relaxing Sunday afternoons with a real jacuzzi. Go! The City Garden
