Have you been to the Whale yet? A frequently heard phrase, and rightly so. The Whale is the newest no nonsense A corner of Amsterdam in the Spaarndammerbuurt - not in the center and therefore hip. But hey, the Whale is not only there for the Amsterdam hipster, elderly neighbors and other nice non-hipsters can also be spotted on the sunny terrace (when it shines) or during Friday afternoon drinks. A favorite is Wednesday Meat Day, the hamburger of the day with fries for ten euros. Every last Tuesday of the month there is the Pub Quiz and every last Saturday of the month a guest chef from a friendly Amsterdam restaurant comes to stand behind the pans, resulting in 3 courses for 25 euros. It's a goalkeeper. Whale
