At Naturhotel Miraval In Alta Badia the emphasis is on sustainability, with the use of local and organic products in both the architecture and The restaurant. The family-run hotel, run by the welcoming Castlunger family, offers sixteen luxurious rooms and seven self-catering apartments. It's great that the option is available, but you can't compete with chef Rainer's cooking. While the bed is incredibly comfortable, it's even nicer to watch a movie in the outdoor cinema. Cold? No way, the jacuzzi is even warmer than under a blanket.

Family hotel Sonnwies is located in the mountain village of Luesen (South Tyrol). Back in the days It was a farm, and the love for farm life has never been lost. It's so well conveyed that even as a city dweller, you can't help but be enthusiastic. The wine cellar is phenomenal (and we certainly don't say that lightly) and the (breakfast) buffet still hasn't gotten boring after a full week (and we certainly don't say that lightly either). From the hotel, you can walk straight onto the 'Sorgenhof'. At this farm, children (and parents) can cuddle various animals, ride horses, and play among the hay bales. In the factory, children can... bacon dumplings en Almbutter to make. Something different than marshmallows and bread on a stick. On the same mountain as the hotel you will find a ski school for the little ones.

For example, you can enjoy the sauna infusions four (!) times a day, which will give you extra relaxation, swim laps in the panoramic pool, and then be pampered in the SPA Arboris. At My Arbor, the focus is primarily on wellness and relaxation, but sometimes, exertion is just what you need to unwind. The Plose ski area is just 350 meters from the hotel, and thanks to the direct ski-in/ski-out connection, there's nothing stopping you from hitting the snow.

The car-free Avoriaz Located in the Haute-Savoie region, in the Portes du Soleil ski area, above the village of Morzine, the buildings are designed to blend in with the surrounding mountains, cliffs, and rock formations.
