Eetbar Paloma: your taste of Spanish summer in this cold Dutch winter

It may be the middle of winter, but the new Paloma in Utrecht it feels like you are right under the Spanish sun. This Tapas restaurant opened its doors last week and is already a top choice in our opinion. A ten minute walk from Utrecht Central Station, enough space (so you probably don't have to worry about a ''sorry we are full''), Spanish live music, and of course delicious tapas on the menu. Conclusion: don't walk but RUN to Paloma in Utrecht!

For us the Torrija please

Eetbar? Yes, eetbar. They call it that because Paloma is divided into two parts: the restaurant area and the tapas café. They are connected, but they do have differences. For example, you can make a reservation for the restaurant (from 17:00), and the tapas café is walk-in (from 15:00). Furthermore, both look tiptop and the atmosphere is also completely arriba ('top' in Spanish and yes, we had to put this through google translate). Oh, and then about the food: Spanish tapas, that is. of course, think of the classics like Pimientos de Padrón and small croquettes with Iberian Ham, but also on Pinsas (kind of pizza bread) and roasted eggplant. Dessert tip: French toast (French toast with cinnamon sugar and pistachio ice cream) – absolutely heavenly.

Live music

Live music

We mentioned it before, but at Paloma you eat every day (yes, really every day!) with live music in the background. If this doesn't convince you to have a bite or a drink here, we don't know what will.
