You organize the most original parties at De Tuinderij in De Lier.

You want to organize a (company) party or a fun outing, but then you immediately run into the first bottleneck... Where, oh where, are we going to put the whole thing? A home party is nice and cozy and cheap, but unfortunately, space is usually not unlimited. And that is not even mentioning the mess the next morning. Did you also have an original game (or even several) in mind? Then you can count on hefty purchase costs.

Fortunately, there is a place where all of that is just a little easier: De Tuinderij in De Lier. De Lier? Yup, a small town tucked away somewhere between Rotterdam and The Hague. In an old greenhouse, right in the middle of the polder and by the water, you will find a party venue dressed in a complete 60s style. Just like going to Grandma's for coffee. With various living rooms (aka party halls), space for groups of 20 to 400 people, hilarious activities, and food and drinks within easy reach, the possibilities here are endless. From birthdays to corporate parties and from family days to outings with your sports team, De Tuinderij is your new go-to.

Various living rooms & hilarious activities

Various living rooms & hilarious activities

So, a living room like that is basically your own party venue. There are five to choose from, all in that cozy 60s style and all slightly different in size. WHater fits you bestYou have your own spot to start (and finish) things, enjoy good food and drinks, and plop down in between. And when the weather is nice? Then you simply throw open the doors and move the whole thing out onto the terrace.

And then of course there are those hilarious activitiesDe Tuinderij is best known for Plankgas door de Kas (Full Throttle Through the Greenhouse) and Je Kan De Pot Op (You Can Go to the Pot). The first is, you guessed it, racing on mobility scooters through the greenhouse. For the second, you step onto a motorized toilet bowl and try to leave the competition behind. It might sound a bit crazy, but believe us, you’ll still be talking about this six parties later. Add activities like human table football, sumo wrestling, foot darts, and the Hoverball Game, and by now you’ll really understand where the term 'hilarious' comes from. The activities in the greenhouse are booked as part of a package, allowing you to combine different elements. And should your group become a little less enthusiastic about mobility scooters and toilet bowls, there are plenty of other quieter activities to choose from.

And what about the food and drinks?

And what about the food and drinks?

A very valid question. After all, all that running around, laughing, and being so enthusiastic naturally makes you hungry. And a good party simply calls for good food. Fortunately, at De Tuinderij, you don't have to show up with a shopping list or a trailer full of food and drinks yourself. There is simply a self-service Package for a fixed price. The fridges are stocked, and the buffets and barbecues are ready too. Grab whatever you feel like and enjoy your party. That self-service It also fits the atmosphere perfectly. No rigid dinner where everyone has to be seated at the table at the same time and you're then afraid of missing dessert. Everyone decides for themselves when to eat, drink, and get back to the rest of the evening. Much more relaxed.

And just like that, you’ve basically arranged everything in one place: a nice location, your own party venue, activities, food, and drinks. All you have to do is bring the right people along. And make sure your colleagues don’t get *too* competitive during *Je Kan De Pot Op*. Before you know it, the endless discussion about who cheated begins. A sort of team-building exercise, let’s say.
