Happinez Festival 2019: festivals in The Now Age on May 10, 11, 12 in Zaandam

Happinez Festival - so far - has been filled with inspiration. Hopping from tent to tent to broaden your horizons, learn things and take lessons. All this in a relaxed, pleasant way. New this year is The Ceremony. A dance party with a Happinez twist. For those who like to dance but don't really want a sweaty club full of twenty-somethings anymore.

Happinez Festival

Happinez Festival

Yes Happinez Festival is different every time. They will be the last at Happinez to say that things need to be better and more. So different. Where you previously had to register online to participate, this year you will receive a stamp card that guarantees you entry to three lectures, workshops and classes. And after those three first choices you can enter as long as there is room. And where are you going? My first three – and of course this is as personal as it can be – choices are:

James Wallman – A surprising look at time
At a time when we are all - often too - busy, managing time more effectively is a must for almost everyone. And since there are some people who get so much more done in the same amount of time - I'm not one of them - new insights in this area are 'quite' useful.

Jelmer Mommers – Together we stop global warming
As 'chef Barts Groene Boekje', sustainability makes my blood flow faster. Jelmer – journalist for De Correspondent and writer – gives a hopeful climate talk. So that at the end of the lecture we will be in good spirits – delicious tchakka – feel that all the small eco steps taken by a large group still contribute enormously to a green planet.

Babette Labeij – Sing to free and heal yourself
yoga, been there. Sound healing – recommended but also – been there. And because on an inspiring day there should always be something to express yourself comfort zone steps, I will surprise myself by singing to free myself. Better said – since I get the jitters just thinking about singing in public – challenge myself. Babette has singing schools in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and is a singing coach for The Voice. She shares her story of how music and singing worked for her as mental coach in processing grief. And participants can experience the magic of singing themselves.

The ceremony

The ceremony

Would you like to dance again? And preferably in an enchanting environment? Following the festival, The Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 18.00:23.00 PM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM. Music, dancing, connecting, ceremonies, rituals and magic. Happinez is still keeping a bit of a secret about what to expect. The appearances of the team at various festivals in recent years and the line-up predict a special evening. Separate tickets are available for The Ceremony.

All speakers, more information, the time table and tickets can be found on the website Happinez Festival.
