The new museum really has everything you want: the building in which it is housed is beautiful (for that reason alone it is worth a visit) and there are very nice exhibitions for young and old. Naturalis has a combination of 'seeing, doing and experiencing' in mind: it worked out well!

The museum is fun with kids from 2 years old. For example, in the first room you walk past all kinds of animals that are of course recognized and arouse the necessary enthusiasm (olifaaant, tijgeeeeer). But the reason you go to Naturalis is of course the dinosaurs. They have been presented in an amazing way – unforgettable, even for older children.

Besides looking at all those special animals, there is also plenty to do. There is a dinosaur room where kids can play with boxes full of dinosaurs. There are binoculars to look over the savannah (model) and in the museum room (the 'earth') you can go into the "caves" in a van with a helmet (with light).

It is no surprise that Naturalis is especially great for the older kids: not only to watch and do, but also to actually learn something. There is so much to explore! A huge go, we can't do anything else from it.
