We agree that the (start of) the summer edition of B&B Vol Liefde 2025 isn't very exciting. This certainly isn't the fault of the B&Bs, which are run with love. Petras Estate Lesbos, Greece, stands head and shoulders above the rest. The three new houses with private pools offer two bedrooms, a private pool, and stunning views of the surrounding nature.

Do you, like the women who visit Illya, love sleeping in a castle? Then check out b&b Chateau de Viviez in the south of France. On the estate, you can stay in one of the castle's rooms, a gypsy caravan, or a separate holiday home. Something for everyone.

In the Alicante region, in the mountain village of Jijona, you'll find Jean-Paul's B&B. Housed in a building dating back to 1860, the B&B has retained its traditional charm. Country house It has two apartments, four suites, and one family room. We think the patio is the most charming part of the B&B.

There is a lot of animals on this farm from 1781. It is atmospheric country house is occupied by bachelor Mike, his dog, four horses and a pony. And the entire house is available for rent, with five bedrooms, a swimming pool, a cozy living room, kitchen and of course the lovely garden with veranda. Don't worry, Paco comes by every day to care for the horses. And Mike and his dog sleep elsewhere. You and nine others have the entire rural, tranquil paradise – along with the horses – to yourselves.

The concept of b&b is stretched a bit at Hotel Castell d'Emporda, but there are beds and breakfast so oh well... Albert has stylishly converted a fourteenth century castle into a dream residence in Catalonia. Albert (or one of his colleagues) welcomes you to one of the 57 rooms (there are thirteen different types), two restaurants, the sunset terrace and the two swimming pools in the green landscape. If you have something special to celebrate, book one of the castle rooms. It remains to be seen whether you will encounter the king of the residence. Maybe it comes with a new love.

This woman and her quirky, colorful place. Debby from season 2023 gave a good dose of cheerfulness through the tube. And that's how she also runs her b&b's with the Costa Brava, Pyrenees and Girona just around the corner. Masia Can Portell and Mas Ferrer are our own and we love that. From the flowery rooms to the special gypsy wagons in the garden, a stay at these B&Bs will hopefully bring you the warmth they radiate. There is plenty to do in the area, the cooking is heavenly during your stay and there are numerous workshops and retreats - from cooking workshops to crocheting and breathing - at Debby's special place. So 1, 2, 3, olé! Ok, and Mas Ferrer.

Join the friendly Anja in her picturesque old parsonage in the middle of France. Anja's b&b Le Mouton Perdu is traditionally French and the prices from €60 per night are just as good. It is up to you whether you doze off in the beautiful rural garden or go out to an old French village or take a nice walk over the hills, through the woods and along the streams. You won't feel like a lost sheep.

head over heels we are at Robert-Jan's b&b. To start with the disappointment: this beautiful white country house that towers over a breathtaking Scottish landscape is no “ordinary B&B”. Robert-Jan actually no longer has to work, but likes to share his enormous love for Scotland with those who have a bespoke shoe tour, team building, family trip or hunting trip on the beautiful Highlands wilderness. He then looks for the most beautiful places to sleep, castles, hunting locations, horse routes and chic pubs in the area. And who knows, you might still sleep in this dream of one cottage.
