This is how you do lockdown party-ing
Hello last days of the year. Hello, looking forward to ending that year and starting a new one fresh. Dinner parties, music and good intentions; Goodbye 2021, hello 2022. But... How? Although we are celebrating New Year's Eve a little differently, because at home with you loved ones only, there are still plenty of options for a fun mini party at home. The three things that are most important for a nice dinner party on New Year's Eve: the perfect menu, tasty snacks and a cozy decorated house. In addition, of course, good music and plenty of it bubbles.
What we are advocating is for lots of glitter, more is more and everything! This way we can cheer things up a bit. If you are still looking for a new fair fashion outfit. The aforementioned research has also shown that music is one of the important aspects during the @home (mini mini family only) lockdown parties. That's a good time. Team Bart recently launched a Barts Boekje Spotify list with the music we listen to during our home dinners, to which we dance (read: jump up and down) with the offspring, to which we relax in the bath and simply throughout the day.
We kick off with a heads-up: Christmas by Bart! This is where you listen our Spotify list (and of course it sounds best on a Sonos. Recommended? The Sonos Move Speaker. It moves throughout our house. That's what we call Barts Brilliant Sound.
Being inside makes you a lot creative, or well, creative is a bit of an exaggeration, but it is fun and funny. Make a large jar and fill it with tightly folded papers. What you write on the pieces of paper can really be anything.
- Write down all the surnames and put the folded cards in a jar. And now you have to take turns drawing a card. Whoever you draw, you have to call. The nice thing is, also put that crazy aunt in the pot and that somewhat crazy great-grandma. This way you can call all your family members before you know it.
- Do you have seen our Christmas movie list, or already these recipes from chefs? So you can also put that in the pot. This way you no longer have to decide what to watch or what to eat at Christmas. The drawn card it is.
A good old game is still the best home entertainment. As long as you know what you need. We looked into it, played some games, went to Spelletjes Fanaten (yes, that has to be capitalized) and came up with an excellent list. Don't mention it.
