New hotel in Utrecht's Lombok: Hotel The Anthony Utrecht
This is not least due to the location of Hotel The Anthony in Utrecht; for example, it is only a fifteen minute walk from Oog in Al where Onland is the new Mr Black & The White Ox opened (you can read all about it here). For example, because the hotel alone is reason enough for a one-way ticket to Utrecht. You want to be there too.
The brand new and oh so hip Hotel The Anthony first of all looks super sleek, inside and out. To all interior ingredients you at the momentt is thought: there is a lot of light, and sleek oak furniture, there are pink cushions and poufs, there are gold-coloured accessories and there is marble (look) in abundance. But that is not all: because the hotel 1) has just opened and 2) does not yet have a restaurant/ lobby/ terrace etc., the rooms are (at least for now) very affordable! Sleeping is possible from 70 euros per night. Ha!
Becomes as we speak working on the opening of the restaurant, which is scheduled to open in February 2019. There is a good chance that this will also be a hit (and the prices will increase afterwards, given the gorgeous looks of the whole thing).
Hotel The Anthony is housed in two monumental buildings: the former parish house and the monastery of St. Antonius, both opposite the Antonius church. That is where the name comes from today: The Anthony' is a nod to the neighbours.
There are 29 luxury lofts with a sitting area, a kitchen, a dining table and a private bathroom. The plans are that in the spring of 2019 another 62 suites will open, the restaurant, a bar and a lobby with a monastery garden and terrace!
