Pide Sunday at restaurant Esra in Amsterdam – you should keep an eye on that one.
There is nothing more fun than a special event from your favorite restaurant, store, or brand. We will be writing a list about that soon, by the way, because Amsterdam, as well as other major cities, is bursting with them. For that, be sure to keep an eye out for our weekend tips keeping an eye on things. Back to what matters: our favorite Esra’s Pide Sunday.
At Esra, we have always loved sitting down for the most delicious modern Turkish (mixed) cuisine prepared by Selin and Steph. A changing menu featuring small (but also larger) dishes ensures you are truly surprised by the flavors (no burrata with tomato or steak tartare), but rather genuine culinary masterpieces.
WellThe duo now organizes Pide Sunday on various Sundays. There, you can enjoy delicious pides (Turkish flatbread) filled with various toppings. There are always four or five flavors to choose from, but you’ll want to try them all. For instance, you can go for the Esra version of a margarita, or a delicious beef or onion. These are just the “main ingredients,” as the pide has many refined side flavors. The flavors change every Pide Sunday, so don't hesitate to pull up a chair every time. We do too.
