Double (art) celebration this weekend: Pop-up shops by Atelier van Schaijck & Edith Beurskens
Now that we are entering the month of November, it is also time to think about the cosiest month of the year: December. Nothing is more fun than getting (and stocking up on) great inspiration from unique makers who make special gifts.
You can have fun at the pop-up shops of Margreet, ceramic maker and curator of vintage ceramic items. And Edith - who doesn't know her? She makes the nicest 3D artworks, candles and smiley ceramics.
On November 2 and 3, you better bring your piggy bank, because at Edith and April you can get the most beautiful works of art. For under the tree or just for yourself. What can you expect in Weesp? A new collection of 3D art & sculptures, the cutest ceramic smileys, vintage frames & art prints. In addition, there are ceramic wall sculptures “Objets de Noyer” & “Sculpture en Boule” and handmade tableware. And samples (for sample prices).
Date: November 2 + 3
Time: 11-16 hours
Location: Community polderweg 831, Weesp
Oh, and if you're feeling really inspired, the duo also offers ceramics courses. You can sign up right after your visit to make all that beauty yourself (after a bit of practice...).
Ohhhh party! Because more from Margreet's hand is always good news. Margreet started Atelier van Schaijck a few years ago. Handmade swirl mugs, cups, plates and more. A small batch becomes available per period, because you understand: handicraft takes a lot of time and everything is turned and glazed by Margreet herself. Due to Margreet's great love for ceramics, you could expect expansion. That's where Gallery van Schaijck comes in: a pop-up where you can admire and buy what Margreet has selected.
We're there!
