Pop-up Beach Camping
Inspired by the Hague Beach Houses of Kijkduin, which is understandable because it's too much fun, The Hague celebrates their '200 years of Party by the Sea' with a real nomad beach campsite. How nice is that? Because that is exactly what it sounds like: a traveling campsite where you can rent a tent and which will 'land' on the beach in seven places this summer (since the Pentecost weekend).
Did you know that that used to be allowed? Camping on the beach of The Hague? Is so. And that is exactly why it is now allowed again, for a short while. You can relax on the beach for two nights, provided you reserve one of the tents, of course. The StrandKamping travels along the beach in The Hague and settles in seven places.
If you're already getting the horror of setting up such a tent on the soft sand... Don't panic. The spacious two-person tents are ready for you and can be rented for two nights at a time. There is no hassle with peanut butter sandwiches: you can have breakfast at the adjacent beach pavilion, your 'beach living room' for those days. In addition, toilet, showers and 24-hour security are arranged.
Where? Here:
Blow Beach House (Strandslag 1) / Beach Club People (Strandslag 2) / Beach Club Titus (Strandslag 5) / Beach Club Leef (Strandslag 6) / Beach Pavilion De Staat (Strandslag 10) / Beach Pavilion Zuid (Strandslag 11) / Beach Pavilion La Cantina (Strandslag 12 ).
For the time being, it can only be booked in the summer of 2018, but who knows… Beach Camping
