Portrait, Haarlem

Portrait, Haarlem

About six months ago, at the beginning of 2014, concept store Portrait opened just outside the well-trodden paths of Haarlem. And I succeeded! The large, bright room contains exactly the things you really didn't have/really need, from affordable art for the wall (read: posters), to the nicest postcards (you can always buy them, even if you don't actually have any money). ), smart clothes and just-right vintage furniture. Whatever you sit on, you can sit anywhere, in the front of the bright bay window (perfect workplace) or at the back on top of the cozy mezzanine. Although the nicest spot in the sun is on the sidewalk in front of the door. Portrait serves a homemade limo (not so cloyingly sweet, just right) and the mackerel salad is highly recommended. Headshot
