Zoldering serves unpretentious, brilliantly delicious food. We ate—and it certainly didn't stop there—the tartelette with onion compote, comté, and hazelnut, stuffed zucchini flowers, partridge with chicory prepared in various ways, with a touch of walnut. Something delicious. Whatever it was: it worked. For dessert, we were tempted by brioche ice cream with mandarin, followed by coffee and madeleines: slightly crispy on the outside, silky smooth on the inside. That ice cream?
