What used to be a Machine Pump Building has been in use for years now Café Restaurant Amsterdam (also known as Cradam). In the former engine room, where the restaurant is now, there were four pumps that pumped the water through enormous pipes to the basement and the water tower to provide the city with water. Pffff, interesting, right? What is important is that the place is spacious and the menu is full of French classics.
