Room service at Olof's Amsterdam

Vegetarians, friends of vegetarians, flexitarians, friends of flexitarians: please write: 'from January 17 to April 30, 2016 pop-up restaurant Roomservice at Olof's at Zeedijk number 2 in Amsterdam'. Done? Then a little more explanation. Chef Chris Naylor and his team will use those dates for 4 months in Amsterdam's oldest chapel, the Sint Olofskapel. That chapel has its doors on the Zeedijk but belongs to the NH Barbizon Palace hotel, on the Prins Hendrikkade (right opposite the CS), the hotel where Naylor runs the kitchen of the Vermeer restaurant (a door next to the hotel). The chef received a Michelin star for his skills in Vermeer, especially because of his love for vegetables (Naylor and associates have a roof garden at the NH Barbizon Palace for vegetables, herbs and three beehives for the production of honey). Vegetables in particular, also at the pop-up restaurant Room Service at Olof's where, funny, meat and fish can be ordered as side dishes. To complete the star battle: 'Sommelier Simon Veldman (Best Wine-Food Specialist of the Year), awarded by Gault Millau in November 2015, serves matching wines and provides Room Service with a story'. You can just walk in, or you must make a reservation. Then you do that here: Room service at Olofs

ps. previews? The first dishes will be prepared on January 16 during the Amsterdam Hotel Night.
