Singeldingen has settled down again in the beautiful Heemraadspark in Rotterdam-West. A summer kiosk with a terrace in the grass and a programme that – it can’t help but make you happy. From toddler yoga, hula hoop lessons and serious boot camp to hut building, gardening and face painting. Bands perform on stage or there is a puppet show. At the kiosk – not just any kiosk but one that has been nominated for all kinds of architecture prizes – you can go for good cappuccino, lemonade and pieces of cake baked by the neighbours. On Friday evening you can sit down at long picnic tables for the neighbourhood meal, on Wednesday there are pancakes.
