When it comes to beach tents, we can't really choose. Annoying. Sun, sea, the Dutch coast: we love. Not least because - as far as we are concerned - no country in the world can match the Dutch beach club culture: nothing-happening-except-when-the-sun-shines-because-then-ALL-goes-to-it -beach. And at Strandpaviljoen Noord on the beach of Bergen aan Zee. they captured that atmosphere just right. Although in the fancier variant of the word, we are in (near) Bergen.

Strandpaviljoen Noord sums it up: lots of white like that collision according to the people who can afford a home in beautiful Bergen (hence of course 'pavilion', not a beach tent, no, child). Lots of color because hey, Bergen is and remains an artists' village. Wonderfully relaxed because we are on the beach so not too much hassle and a picobello three-course changing weekly menu for those who want to eat something other than a burger on the beach. Redfish fillet, for example, or a stuffed portobello. Plus the occasional Jazz evening. Like Beach pavilion North
