't Koffieboontje no.2 and SLA no.2 Utrecht

Utrecht is slowly waking up again after a short hibernation: the new addresses are starting to pop up like the crocuses along the waterfront! Is it a coincidence or a sign that two of our favorite addresses decided almost simultaneously to open a second location? No idea, but it's nice.

First up: SLA. Now a new classic and a well-known salad concept in the country. The second SLA branch in Utrecht opened on Nachtegaalstraat, a little further from the city center but still within walking distance of... everything. This location is larger and even more beautiful than location number 1. There is a winter garden and the place is inviting for a quiet afternoon of laptop use. The service is top notch and, as with all SLA locations, the food is consistently top notch.

The second second opening is for 't Koffieboontje. The owners managed to claim an even better location than that of their first café on the Oudegracht. Number two is located on the corner of Adleerstraat and Gruttersdijk with a view of a windmill: coffee with a cookie and a windmill, it doesn't get more Dutch than that. In this case too, the new location is larger than the first address and ' Koffieboontje is chock full of original details with the tree trunk table as coffee flatlay instagram heaven! And the rocking chair... If you're looking for me.

For English:

"Utrecht is waking up after a short hibernation and new places are popping up like the beautiful crocuses around the water front. Is it a coincidence or a sign that two of my favorite places have decided to open second editions of their successful first establishments? I don't know but I am surely liking it.

SLA is already a pretty well known salad bar concept all around the Netherlands. The second opening in Utrecht is on Nachtegaalstraat, a bit more outside the city center but still in a convenient distance. This branch is bigger and prettier, if you ask me. It has a winter garden and a sense of privacy in case you want to come with a laptop and work from here. The service is great and food healthy and yummy as it is in the other branches. We are talking high consistency here.

The second expanding Utrecht hotspot is The Coffee Bean. The owners managed to snatch even a better location than their first Oudegracht café. This one is located on the corner of Adleerstraat and Gruttersdijk facing a windmill, it cannot get better and more Dutch than that! This new cafeteria is more spacious and has the most original features I have seen so far - the agate table - coffee flatlay pics heaven! Other than that the swinging armchair is to be found also in this branch. I sense you will find me there a lot..."
