Ongoing list delivered to your home and take-a-way in Amsterdam

Comfort food, but good. Because home delivery/takeout isn't cheap anymore, so when you do, it's good. Enjoy the little moments, together or alone, preferably with a delicious meal on the couch. That's why we've compiled a list of restaurants in Amsterdam where you can pick up delicious meals or have them delivered right to your door.

Never gets old

Never gets old

Snack bar Bird. Or restaurant Bird, but we usually opt for 'snack bar' as we once had a less tasty meal at 'restaurant' (at home), even though it is largely the same dishes.

Soup and stuff. An Amsterdam healthy classic: we have never found a better one spicy spinach soup. Take-a-way only.

Rainarai. It is especially recommended to walk by: you will immediately find one of the most beautiful parts of Amsterdam center (the restaurant in Westerpark is also nice, but no take-a-way there - save that for later).

Tomo Sushi. Because sushi. And although there are better sushi places, Tomo does best when it comes to home delivery and pickup (the best sushi addresses are often best visited as they once intended: en casa).

Foodware. A classic when it comes to the better Amsterdam caterer. We forgot about it for a moment – our bad!

Lebanese delicacies

Lebanese delicacies

Siam Bowl

Siam Bowl

A little more often than we would like, we crave Thai comfort food at home. On the couch, in the park, or on our self-placed plastic stools outside the door. But finding really good Thai noodles in Amsterdam turned out to be quite difficult. Well, in comes Siam Bowl. Authentic noodles reminiscent of Bangkok, the opposite of instant. For connoisseurs, they have: Khao Soi, creamy Tom Yum noodles, classic Thai noodle soups, and Khanom Jeen.

At Siam Bowl, it's all about street food just like you eat it in Thailand: fast, full of flavor, and no fuss. The inspiration comes straight from the streets of Bangkok, with rich broths, fresh herbs, and noodles that don't get buried in sauce but carry it all. The Khao Soi, Northern Thai curry noodles with coconut and crispy noodles on top, brings back Thai memories. And for those who prefer something fresh, sour, and spicy: the Tom Yum Nam Sai is exactly the kind of comfort bowl you'll keep coming back to. Order now!
