Admittedly, Bart prefers a burger to a spring roll. Unless a gem like Vijfnulvijf in the Indische buurt (Amsterdam East) comes along. On the menu Asian street food which means sushi-esque tapas snacks. And man oh man, that is delicious! Bacon with peanut sauce, tempura veggies, duck roll, shrimp, edamame, salad with warm chicken... and so on and so forth. A modern and above all very nicely decorated spot in a remote spot that is worth the detour, and makes the love for Asian cuisine great (and the name? That's the house number).
