Wines in Breda
Breda is a vibrant city - and so we all know. Beer here on a late-night out, but where oh where are we going for wine in Breda? Definitely the best places for a glass of good wine, but in Breda are there also a number of nice places to eat and drink that a Highwine offer. It's fun. Cheers!
Right opposite the Grote Kerk in Breda – it doesn't get more central than that, and yet… If you don't know about Wine Bar Copine, you'll walk right past it. The door is dark, but don't be fooled: inside, it is always good and cozy. Delicious wines, of course, but also excellent bites. Oh, and Copine is – quite rightly – popular, so anyone who thinks they don't need to make reservations at a wine bar on the weekend is mistaken.
Anyone who knows us, and has memorized this article, knows that we are repeating ourselves a little here… Apologies. But Brasserie Bardot It is simply an institution in Breda, and as true Burgundian residents of Breda, we might take the wine lover who doesn't end up on the brasserie's terrace and subsequently in the bar of Petit Bardot, the adjacent wine bar, just a little less seriously during a beautiful sunny week. There are plenty of very good wines by the glass, it is always a great atmosphere, and both the bitterballen and the oysters come by at a rapid pace. From the first rays of sunshine, the high tables on the terrace are the coziest in town, and if the weather is terrible, you end up standing somewhat crammed inside, but again: it is so cozy! What's not to like.
In an old canal house on the Prinsenkade in Breda, you will find Big Belly Bar & Garden. With 24 (!) types of beer and good comfort foods You can get a fantastic taste of Brabant life in this tasting paradise. And there is a High Wine. Apparently it is top-notch. We haven't done it ourselves (yet), so anyone who can tell us what it is like is welcome to share.
Be sure to go on a beautiful sunny day: the terrace is highly recommended.

To be honest: you really won't find us very often at the Boterhal in Breda, but that's us. And taste. A bit too big, too commercial, or perhaps too young? But we absolutely want to mention the Boterhal, because a lot is actually going right there. Moreover, you can go there every day of the week between 10:00 and 18:00 for a high wine.
