You may have already spotted it in our weekly weekend tips, but we'll go over it briefly here. Because it's so nice: the Winter Wonder Walk through the Museum Quarter in Amsterdam. Because let's face it: when your title is 'Winter Wonder Walk', you've got us. If we read further, we learn that this is a special walk that takes you past the highlights of Museum Quarter Amsterdam. And yes, that is much more than the largest museums in the Netherlands and the well-known PC Hooftstraat alone! Just pay attention.

Look, we're talking about a cultural tour and a food walk through one of the most evocative neighborhoods of Amsterdam: Museum Quarter, or the hood around Museumplein.

Well, now you think, we know it there, right? Wrong! Because then you certainly haven't heard the stories of the guides yet. For example, one of the guides is Herman Rieken, a member of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra; he guides you through the musical history of the neighborhood.

Fancy something tasty? During the walk you can 'stamp' the old-fashioned way for delicious winter snacks at Café Georgette (George's sister), Café Viotta, Chimney Bakery, Coffee District, Concertgebouw, Foodcrib, Kiosk Rembrandt van Gogh, Ten Good Food Cafe (Stedelijk) and The Seafood Bar.

Bringing kids? Of course! Because here comes the best part: Hand in the full stamp card at the end of your walk and have a chance to win some really nice prizes.

Participation is free and all mini dishes from the participating catering industry cost approximately €5 each. Reservations are not necessary.
